92-year-old Georgian director Lana Gogoberidze got vaccinated with the Pfizer vaccine today, on March 30, the first day of the vaccination program using Pfizer in Georgia.
“I feel completely normal. Somehow, I am sure that there will be no complications. I did not have any worries. We must all get vaccinated if we want to survive.
“There is danger everywhere- when you walk down the street, a brick might fell on your head, but this is one in a million cases, and it is one tragic case that happened to us,” she said, referring to the Akhaltsikhe nurse who died following vaccination with AstraZeneca this month.
“It is not only necessary for you personally, but it is also for your country. It is an expression of solidarity with others and it is the highest feeling that a person can have.”
Lana Gogoberidze is the author of such films as: Me vkhedav mzes (I See the Sun), Rotsa Akvavda Nushi, (When the Almond Has Grown), and ‘Ramdenime Interviu Pirad Sakitkhebze (Several Interviews on Personal Matters).
