A Road to the 2027 Rugby World Cup
The 2025 Rugby European Championship doubles as a qualifying tournament for the 2027 Rugby World Cup in Australia, which will expand to 24 teams. The top four teams from this tournament will secure direct qualification, while the fifth will compete in the repechage.
Georgia remains the most successful team in the championship’s history, having won 16 titles, including the last seven in a row.
