The conference will feature educational and networking activities across three parallel spaces. The main themes of the event include artificial intelligence (AI/ML), web applications (Android/iOS), scientific and technological innovations, and technologies in education.
The event aims not only to provide engaging content for the attendees and create a comfortable environment but also to inspire women to share their knowledge and experiences. Google’s Women Techmakers program, designed for women in technology, has been active in Georgia since 2014. This program empowers women software engineers, mobile systems developers, and data scientists, enabling them to grow without limitations.
For TBC, a technology company with a customer-centric approach, supporting initiatives that make life easier through technological progress is a priority. This is underscored by the company’s commitment to backing technological events that encourage the involvement of tech professionals.
TBC demonstrates its commitment to empowering women in technology through various initiatives, including the Grace Hopper Tech Award. This award draws public attention to the importance of gender equality in the technology field, showcasing leaders who serve as role models for women’s empowerment.
- “Château Vartsikhe” is developed in Imereti in partnership with TBC.
With the arrival of spring, businesses also come to life, especially those rooted in the vineyard landscapes, as seen in the village of Vartsikhe. ” Château Vartsikhe” in the Baghdati district opened its doors on August 4, 2022.
The chateau, comprising a hotel and a restaurant, is not the family’s sole business venture in Imereti. Surrounding the chateau is a vineyard covering an area of 20 hectares, producing 11 types of wine and various alcoholic beverages from different grape varieties.
“Our primary motivation was the production of Imertian wine. For this purpose, we acquired land in the Baghdati region and planted the first vine, “Otskhanuri Saphere”, in 2016. Over time, we added other varieties, allowing us to offer 11 types of wine. Additionally, we produce various alcoholic beverages. Although our wine is currently sold under the brand ‘Vartsikhe Winery,’ we plan to rebrand it soon, and our products will hit the market under the name ‘ Château Vartsikhe,'” says Tamaz Tsirekidze, the director of ” Château Vartsikhe.”
The decision to construct a château on the vineyard premises came after recognizing the tourism potential and opportunities in the region. Currently, “Château Vartsikhe” boasts approximately 20 cottage-style rooms for guests. The château features a restaurant, swimming pool, conference hall, stables, and an artificial lake where guests can enjoy fishing.
“Our partnership with TBC has significantly expanded the infrastructure of our hotel. We’ve added a conference hall, stables, and are in the process of constructing a second pool. This is a 5-year project, during which we plan to expand further and add more cottages,” explains Tamaz Tsirekidze.
“Château Vartsikhe” is a popular destination on Booking.com, holding a hotel rating of 9.4. Customer satisfaction and feedback are given particular attention. Guests from around the world, as well as different parts of Georgia, choose “Château Vartsikhe” as their preferred destination.
At present, around 40 individuals are employed at “Château Vartsikhe,” with a focus on hiring locally. As the hotel and vineyards expand over the next 5 years, the number of employees is expected to increase.
- TBC has officially become a supporter of Kutaisi Torpedo.
The collaboration between TBC and the Kutaisi football team, Torpedo, has been established as a strategic partnership. This alliance aims to facilitate local and regional promotion of the team, contributing significantly to the future development of this historic football club. Kutaisi Torpedo commenced the new season with a triumphant victory, marking the commencement of what promises to be a successful collaboration.
Football holds a central place in Georgian culture, and Torpedo, as a historical football club, has actively competed since its founding in 1946. The partnership with TBC is geared towards advancing the team, implementing various internal projects, and promoting them in championships and festivals.
In tandem with the Kutaisi football team, TBC envisions generating widespread interest and fostering regional development, particularly on the Imereti side, through collaborative projects.
- TBC Capital has released its monthly macroeconomic review.
In January, the economy witnessed a growth of 5.8%, aligning with the overarching trend of normalizing key macroeconomic indicators. This observation extends to net foreign exchange inflows as well. Despite a previous decline in recent months, excluding seasonal factors, migration indicators have shown slight improvement, driven by spending through TBC channels. Nevertheless, TBC Capital suggests that the peak in these indicators seems to have passed.
The anticipated restriction on gasoline imports from Russia is expected to impact consumer prices, albeit by approximately 0.3 percentage points. Although Russia’s contribution is significant, the supply of oil products from other markets mitigates this effect. Furthermore, it is noteworthy that the February inflation rate is slightly lower than anticipated, influencing the forecast in the opposite direction.
In essence, TBC Capital’s macroeconomic expectations remain unchanged. In summary, it can be reiterated that macroeconomic indicators exhibit strength, and the prevailing trend appears to be more of a normalization rather than a downward trajectory.

- TBC inaugurated an educational hub within the premises of the 41st Public School in Kutaisi.
TBC has introduced a groundbreaking initiative called “TBS Education Space,” designed to cater to the needs of the new generation. Under this project, versatile spaces will be established in schools across all regions of Georgia. These spaces aim to facilitate various extracurricular activities and enable students to deepen their knowledge in their chosen fields of interest.
The inaugural Education Space was unveiled at Andria Razmadze Kutaisi Physics-Mathematics Public School No. 41.
The concept of the education space is meticulously crafted to align with the requirements of students. Embracing modular principles, the space is adaptable to diverse activities. It will serve as a venue for events, presentations, and school club activities, including but not limited to chess, reading, vocal training, various workshops, multimedia-format lessons, and more.
Furthermore, students can utilize the space for academic pursuits while exploring literature pertinent to their age and interests. This access is facilitated through the library within the space and the “Saba” electronic library.
TBC Education Space stands as a pioneering support initiative for the new generation, offering young individuals in the region the opportunity to dedicate more time to informal education.
- The participants of the TBC Communications Workshop showcased their final projects.
In addition to theoretical lectures, the TBC training center provided a real working environment for young participants. Over three months, they delved into the art of negotiation, the clear and convincing presentation of goals and desires, and the techniques of public speaking in front of an audience. The participants also acquired skills in collaboration to achieve common goals, encompassing reasoning, decision-making, task management, teamwork, and more.
Throughout the course, participants collaborated in teams and culminated their efforts by presenting individual projects. Noteworthy among these projects was a mental health chatbot, developed by students who had previously completed a course on creating chatbots at TBC Tech School.
“In the communication workshop, we delved into the intricacies of what communication truly means. While I initially considered communication to be a strong suit, the course gradually revealed its profound aspects to me. Thanks to the course, I can now adeptly present in public, communicate effectively with both small and large audiences, and even engage in introspective communication. Beyond these skills, the project’s uniqueness lies in the opportunity to study oneself, understand the dynamics of group work, recognize personal responsibility, and ultimately create a project that unifies existing and acquired knowledge. This transformative process enables you to contribute meaningfully to your chosen audience,” remarked Elene Purtseladze, a graduate of TBC Tech School and the Communications Workshop.
“For TBC, supporting the new generation and providing access to quality education constitute the primary focus of corporate social responsibility. Hence, we consistently offer diverse educational projects and programs to the emerging generation. In the communication workshop, TBC Tech School graduates had the chance to further enhance their communication skills. It’s gratifying to see participants consolidate their knowledge from both projects and independently create valuable products,” stated Mariam Tevzadze, the strategic projects manager at TBC.
The Communication Workshop, facilitated by experienced mentors, empowered high school students to refine and enhance essential skills crucial for success in any field today. This initiative serves as a precursor to a promising and secure future.
