Andrii Kasianov, Charge d’Affaires of Ukraine, says up to 20,000 Ukrainians are currently in Georgia.
At today’s briefing, he stated that 58 children have already enrolled in Georgian schools and the parents of about 50 children have applied for studies.
Kasianov noted that the Ukrainian Embassy is working closely with the Georgian Government to provide systematic assistance and support to Ukrainians living in Georgia.
“We thank the Georgian side for such support,” he said.
