The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Garibashvili, stated at today’s government sitting that the property tax of 2021 is to be written off for the tourism sector.
“For the tourism sector of Georgia, we will write off the 2021 property taxes. We have studied the current situation in this sector, the challenges, the problems that have accumulated. Naturally, this sector has suffered the most because of Covid, including the hotel and restaurant industry as a whole, and therefore this sector will not need pay property taxes for 2021,” stated Garibashvili.
The PM minister added that he thinks it will be an important aid for this sector.
