“We had active communication with the Ukrainian side, and I can tell you with confidence that Mikheil Saakashvili had not left the state border of Ukraine,” said Alexander Darakhvelidze, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs.
As he noted Saakashvili is wanted, he is sentenced if he crosses the border, he will be arrested and transferred to the relevant penitentiary department.
Today, on October 1, Mikheil Saakashvili, former President of Georgia announced he is back in the country and currently is in Batumi.
