The National Center for Disease Control & Public Health reports that from June 14, registration for both the first and second doses of the Sinovac vaccine will resume.
100,000 doses of the Sinovac vaccine were introduced in Georgia on April 29, the first dose of the vaccine started on May 24 and 17,199 citizens have been vaccinated with it so far.
On June 1, the World Health Organization (WHO) authorized the Sinovac vaccine for emergency use for people over the age of 18.
The Sinovac vaccine is an inactivated vaccine made using the traditional method.
The second dose of Sinovac is given 14-28 days after the first.
