At the municipal government meeting, Kakha Kaladze, the Mayor of Tbilisi, reported the finalization of Zgvisubani Park. Kaladze emphasized the significance of recreational projects for the city’s development, mentioning that what was formerly a waste disposal spot is now an enormous park built with a budget of GEL 40 million.
The park, divided into two sections by a bridge, features soccer and basketball courts, two lakes, parking spaces, a pet-friendly area, and a cafe.
The opening ceremony will take place on October 20 at 8 pm, with a performance by Mgzavrebi.
