The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, commented on the death of acclaimed Georgian singer and actor Vakhtang (Buba) Kikabidze, noting that he was a friend who was always there for them.
“Vakhtang Kikabidze. A friend who was always there for us. A great man of great people. A legend we all looked up to. Bright memory of the artist and condolences to his loved ones,” Zelensky wrote on Facebook.
Kikabidze died at the age of 84 on January 15.
