The ‘Women in Business: Economic Forum,’ organized by the local business association ‘Women for Tomorrow’ with joint support from Gazelle Finance and Visa, took place on September 24 in Tbilisi.
The forum provided a platform for women entrepreneurs to discuss domestic challenges faced by women and featured government officials such as Irakli Nadareishvili, the Deputy Economy Minister of Georgia, along with spokespeople from NGOs and financial institutions.
As part of the conference, a variety of crucial topics were discussed, such as the scarcity of available funds for women entrepreneurs in Georgia and the opportunities and hardships associated with it. Sessions were arranged in a question-and-answer format and featured representatives of ‘Women for Tomorrow’ as well as other notable figures.
