Drug imports from Turkey, aiming to cut rising drug prices, hit a record high in August this year, reaching $6.4 million, the Georgian Health Ministry said on Friday.
Health Minister Zurab Azarashvili estimated Georgians would save between 180 and 200 million GEL annually from the Turkish pharmaceutical market opening.
