BM news has reported that one of the most prominent eco-tourism attractions in Georgia, Tsalka (Dashbashi) Canyon, has officially reopened for the 2024 season, attracting a rising number of international visitors, especially from Asia.

The canyon has been a subject of major renovations and, as a result, it now offers more than nature and scenic views. Upgraded amenities include a hotel, spa, pool, saunas, workspaces, restaurants, and other services aimed at turning the destination into a tourism hub.

“The number of visitors from India, Israel, the United Arab Emirates, Thailand, and Saudi Arabia has increased significantly, which directly reflects the popularization of eco-tourism in the world,” said Ekaterine Tordia, CEO of Kass Land, the company operating the site.

Tordia also pointed out a 10% price increase this season, demonstrating the growing investment in the attraction, with tickets now costing GEL 46 for Georgian citizens and GEL 79 for foreigners.
