The price of oil in the world market is decreasing yet again. At the moment, one barrel of Brent fuel is traded at $77.75 on international exchanges, while American crude oil WTI is trading at $71.82.
Western media writes this is happening against the background of global economic uncertainty and the prospect of continued tight monetary policy. In particular, it is possible that the European Central Bank will keep the monetary policy rate at a high level throughout the year.
