In 2023, the largest rate of car imports was recorded. According to GEOSTAT data, last year Georgia bought cars worth 3.162 billion dollars, which is 84.5% more than the previous year. In 2022, cars worth 1.714 billion dollars were imported into Georgia.
A 134.8% increase was recorded in the direction of re-export as well. In particular, in 2023, cars worth 2.126 billion dollars were exported from Georgia, and in the previous year – cars worth 905.7 million dollars.
