In December 2023, the amount of cash in circulation in Georgia amounted to 5,934.1 million GEL, which means that compared to November, the amount of cash in circulation increased by 8%.
The amount of cash in circulation exceeded the 5 billion mark for the first time in December 2022. In the following months, there was a decrease, and from April 2023, it started to increase again, before seeing a decrease again in October.
