Tech Women Community, an innovative platform supporting women and girls in Georgia’s ICT sector, has announced open membership for its new development phase.
The initiative empowers women through skills development, professional networking, collaboration and career advancement opportunities within the technology and digital industries.
Membership is open to any woman aged 18 or older residing in Georgia. The annual membership fee is set at a symbolic 50 GEL which contributes to organizing community activities and encourages active engagement among members. The fee can be paid in full or in two installments of 25 GEL.
The community also offers a limited number of fee waivers for women facing financial difficulties. Applicants may request exemption by explaining their circumstances in the registration form, with final decisions made by the community’s organizing team.
As part of its new phase, Tech Women Community will categorize members based on their level of experience in the ICT sector.
Planned activities include:
- Networking sessions and meetings with industry professionals
- Career development training and practical workshops
- Discussions on labor rights and workplace safety
- Well-being and mental health support initiatives
- Mentorship and leadership development programs
- Access to international and academic opportunities
The organizers say the platform seeks to strengthen the role of women in Georgia’s growing technology ecosystem.
