The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Georgia will host the Regional Consultative Group (RCG) Meeting for the broader Middle East and North Africa (B-MENA) region from December 3 to 5, 2025. The gathering will bring together more than 45 participants, including ICC Global Secretary General John Denton, C-level executives from ICC Headquarters in Paris and leaders from ICC National Committees across the Caucasus, Central Asia, and the MENA region.
The meeting points out Georgia’s growing role in facilitating international trade, investment and business development. Delegates will include representatives from Armenia, Bahrain, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Mongolia, Morocco, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Tajikistan, Tunisia, the UAE and ICC committees in formation in Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan. The event will be held at Tbilisi’s Biltmore Hotel and will feature a hybrid format to accommodate both in-person and virtual attendees.
Strategic Agenda
Main sessions scheduled for December 4 will focus on global business and regional cooperation. ICC leadership, including Deputy Secretary General Julian Kassum, will provide updates on financial inclusion, FATF Taskforce developments and initiatives such as the Agri-Food Initiative and Dispute Resolution Services.
National Committees will also discuss achievements, challenges and collaborative opportunities, particularly in digital trade, business integrity and arbitration. Updates on ICC’s 2026 global policy workstreams, including digital trade sandbox initiatives and proposals for new commissions like the Global Insurance Commission from ICC Syria, will be presented.
“This meeting represents a unique opportunity to strengthen ties among business leaders in the B-MENA region,” said Fady Asly, Chairman of ICC Georgia and the RCG for B-MENA. “It will drive sustainable economic growth and foster collaboration on trade, investment and dispute resolution initiatives that benefit all participating economies.”
Networking and Collaboration
Alongside formal sessions, the event will feature networking opportunities, including a welcome coffee, lunch breaks and interactions during the Global Investment Forum. These activities help partnerships among business leaders and enhance regional cooperation.
