Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze stated on October 23-24, that Tbilisi is to host an autumn harvest from all over Georgia.
The trading will be held within the framework of the “Tbilisoba” holiday.
“On October 23-24, Tbilisi will host the autumn harvest, agricultural products from all over Georgia. Special places will be allocated for this in different districts of the capital. During these days, outside trade will be allowed in Chugureti, near the Marjanishvili metro station; In Samgori – N10 Victor Kuprava Street, so-called Svan market area; In Gldani, on Nozadze Street; In Didube – on Stanislavski Street (adjacent to “Didube Plaza”); In Digomi – Paichadze Street N1 (near the square); In Saburtalo – in the vicinity of the Sports Palace; In Vake – in Gegeshidze garden,” Kaladze noted.
The mayor noted that due to the pandemic, the celebration of Tbilisoba was planned in a television format, with a musical performance and the awarding of honorable Tbilisians. After the tragedy in Batumi, the musical part of Tbilisoba was canceled and the money allocated for the project will be transferred to the Fund for Assistance to the Victims and Affected Families.
