According to the investment development plan, Tbilisi Milk Factory LLC plans to invest 2,440,000 Euros in production in 2021-2025. “This will create more than 40 jobs, increase factory productivity, and triple the list of products produced,” Alexander Lehan, Tbilisi Milk factory director said to BM.ge.
The project was carried out with the involvement of the Ministry of Agriculture of Georgia and the Embassy of Belarus in Georgia. The main financial actor is a group of Belarusian companies that manage more than a dozen dairy plants and have huge experience in the field.
The company invested 850,000 Euros in the first phase of the factory launch. Currently, The enterprise processes 40 tons of raw milk daily and employs 59 people.
“Today, the enterprise produces 10 types of traditional Georgian cheese. In the coming years, various products made from raw milk will be added to the list, which will be aimed at different categories of consumers,” Lehan told BM.ge.
