At least 11 people, including four children, were injured following a Russian drone attack on Ukraine’s Sumy region, Ukrainian media report, citing the State Emergency Service.
Based on preliminary information, the attack occurred overnight on October 31, when Russian forces launched a series of strikes on residential areas and infrastructure in the region.
One of the drones struck a nine-story apartment building, causing fires in five apartments on the upper floors.
In addition, two auxiliary buildings in a private neighborhood caught fire, while the blast wave damaged a single-story residential complex with five apartments.
Ukrainian emergency crews are continuing rescue and firefighting operations at the scene.
