Rescuers finally found the body of a man buried in an avalanche in Bakuriani, the Emergency Management Service reports.
The body of the deceased was removed from the snow mass by rescuers, and relevant legal procedures are underway.
The emergency management service said about 200 firefighters, border police helicopters, rescue drones, canine service and representatives of the Georgian Defense Forces were involved in the search efforts.
A mass of snow fell from the slopes of the mountain in Bakuriani on March 28. One person was trapped in the avalanche.
