Remittances decrease by 27%

Statement of “Georgian Railways” About Delays Caused by Bad Weather

In February 2024, compared to the same period of 2023, the volume of remittance flows into the country decreased by 26.9%.

Annually, the volume of remittance flows from EU countries increased by 15.9%, and from other countries decreased by 40.7%. In February of this year, the share of EU countries in remittances was 38.79%, and the share of other countries was 61.21%.
