Georgia’s Ministry of Education has announced that registration for vocational education programs will take place from September 1 to September 25, 2025. Applicants will be able to register both online, through the official portal vet.emis.ge, and in vocational institutions across the country.
For the upcoming intake, a selection of programs will be available at both public and private institutions. The ministry stated that the 2025 admission cycle will also see an increase in integrated programs. These programs enable individuals with basic education to receive vocational training while completing their general education, leading to a vocational diploma as well as a certificate of full secondary education (attestat). Graduates of these programs may later choose to continue their studies at the higher education level.
Applicants will also have the opportunity to enroll in work-based learning programs which combine classroom instruction with practical training. Under this model, responsibility for achieving learning outcomes is shared between an educational institution and a partnering company.
