Red Wings is set to increase the price of aviation tickets and to increase its traffic by 5% to 2.9-3 million passengers this year, having served 2.7 million passengers last year.
“Until the end of the year, the cost of avia tickets will likely not increase, but in the future the prices will go up,” said Alexander Krutov, Deputy General Director of Red Wings Airlines for Commercial Affairs. “Everything, including airport taxes, fuel and aircraft spare parts, is getting more expensive. If the air navigation tax also increases, this will also affect the cost. However, the final decision on this matter has not been made yet.”
Red Wings Airlines is a Russian regional airline based in Moscow Domodedovo Airport. The airline provides both scheduled passenger and cargo services. As well as flights from Georgia to Moscow, Red Wings also flies Tbilisi – Irkutsk, Novosibirsk and Grozny in Russia.
