Press Conference of International Classical Music Festival ‘Night Serenades’ to be Held in Batumi

On August 24, at 2 p.m., the press conference of the international classical music festival “Night Serenades” will be held in the Ilia Chavchavadze Drama Theater of Batumi.

The press conference will be attended by Deputy Mayor of Batumi Sofo Khalvashi, Minister of Education, Culture and Sports of Adjara Maya Khajishvili, artistic director of the festival, German-based Georgian musician Giorgi Issakadze, and director of the festival and founder of the company “Art Alliance” Nina Tsagareli.

This year’s festival participants are: Andres Gabetta (violin, France), Gloria Campaner (piano, Italy), Alessandro Carbonare (clarinet, Italy), Mario Stefano Pietrodarchi (bandoneon, Italy), Sabine Grofmeier (clarinet, Germany), Katie Mahan (piano, USA), and the base orchestra of the festival “Georgian Virtuosi”.

The founder of the festival is Liana Issakadze, the artistic director – Giorgi Issakadze, the director of the festival is Nina Tsagareli. The “Night Serenades” festival is organized by “Art Alliance” company. The Batumi-Tbilisi International Festival “Night Serenades” is supported by: Tbilisi City Hall, Batumi City Hall; the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara; the Embassy of Italy in Georgia, the Embassy of France in Georgia; and the French Institute at the Embassy of France.

The official insurer of the festival is the company “Ardi”

Hilton Garden Inn Tbilisi is the host of the festival.
