Revaz Vashakidze, the founder of the poultry company ‘Chirina’, was featured on ‘Business Morning’ where he announced diversification plans for its products this year, encompassing sausages, nuggets, and other items.
The company has just concluded a major investment project, the installation of a meat processing plant capable of producing 24,000 tons of chicken annually. ‘Chirina’ also aims to expand its presence in Azerbaijan and Armenia and, eventually, to export products to the European Union and Asia.
Since its establishment in 2010, ‘Chirina’ has become a substantial agricultural enterprise not only in Georgia but also in the South Caucasus, and is deemed one of the primary food producers in the region.
