Levan Davitashvili, Georgia’s First Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Economy, along with Tornike Rizhvadze, Chairman of the Government of Adjara, and representatives from Accor Group, attended the event announcing the construction of a new hotel and residence complex by the Pullman brand in Tsikhisdziri, Adjara. The project, already attracting $80 million in investments, is anticipated to significantly drive Adjara’s prominence in international tourism.
Davitashvili emphasized the project’s alignment with the country’s large-scale tourism goals to attract more high-spending visitors globally.
The construction phase alone will create 500 jobs, with 250 additional permanent positions once officially opened. The five-star hotel is expected to be operational by 2028, with sustainable development initiatives, yacht club plans, and goals to reinstate sea passenger transport in the Adjara region.
