The Georgian Prime Minister wished a happy professional day to Georgian journalists.
He noted that an independent and free pluralist media environment is a mandatory precondition for the country’s democracy.
“I would like to wish a Happy Day of Georgian Journalism to our journalists, representatives of the media. It is an enormous responsibility to serve your people and country by adhering to principles and values and observing high professional standards.
“And an independent and free pluralist media environment is a mandatory precondition for the country’s democracy, something that our team, Georgian Dream, guarantees. Once again, I join all journalists in the celebration of their professional holiday, and I wish them success in their professional endeavors,” Irakli Garibashvili says.
