Irakli Garibashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia, held a farewell meeting with Carl Hartzell, European Union Delegation Head, today.
The meeting was focused on the current cooperation of Georgia and the EU in various fields. Significant progress and the positive trend of bilateral relations were also noted at the meeting.
Garibashvili noted the decision on granting European Perspective to the country was truly historic and by doing so, the Council of Europe, as well as leaders of EU member states, confirmed that the future of Georgia rests within the EU.
Prime Minister expressed sheer gratitude to Hartzell for the unwavering support of the sovereignty, territorial integrity and European path of Georgia.
Garibashvili highlighted the substantial contribution of Hartzell in advancing the bilateral relations between Georgia and the EU, and wished him every success in his future endeavors.
