From today, June 22, wearing face masks in open spaces will not be mandatory, Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili announced at a briefing after the meeting of the Interagency Coordination Council of the government.
However, he added, wearing face masks will still be mandatory on public transport, at bus stops and in all indoor spaces.
Further, based on the decision of the Interagency Coordination Council, restriction on movement at night (the curfew) will be abolished across the country from July 1.
