One million doses of vaccine will be delivered to Georgia in two weeks, Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili announced today, June 22, after the meeting of the Interagency Coordination Council of the government.
However, he didn’t answer additional questions from journalists and didn’t specify which vaccine is being discussed.
Notably, recently, hundreds of citizens who were going to get the second dose of AstraZeneca in the coming days, received SMS, saying that their bookings have been canceled due to delays in the delivery of the AstraZeneca vaccine.
Additional details are not yet known, namely when the stock will be refilled or what caused the delay.
