The “Nordmann” tourist facility in Ambrolauri city, located in Racha, is all set to welcome its first vacationers. Khatia Margvelidze, the hotel representative, shared with Bm.ge that they have already received reservations for the upcoming weeks, indicating a promising start.
With a total of eight rooms, including a suite, the hotel can accommodate up to 15 guests. Margvelidze mentioned that the prices for the current season have been finalized. An ordinary room will cost 150 GEL, while a deluxe room will be priced at 250 GEL. The rates include breakfast, and guests can also opt for lunch and dinner if desired, although breakfast remains the most popular choice.
When discussing the readiness of Racha for the tourist season, BM.GE spoke to the representative of “Nordmann.” According to Margvelidze, the region is experiencing a significant influx of tourists this year. Ambrolauri has made necessary preparations concerning its infrastructure and communication channels to cater to the increased demand.
“If we talk about the example of Ambrolauri, the infrastructure is in order, it is a center, and we had no problems with roads and communications. Food stores and entertainment facilities are by the demand” – says Khatia Margvelidze.
In addition to “Nordmann,” the hotel also operates a wine cellar in one of the villages of Ambrolauri. The wine cellar is fully booked and experiencing maximum occupancy, further indicating the high number of tourists in Racha this year.
Looking ahead, “Nordmann” has plans to enhance its offerings by introducing a swimming pool and improving its internal space. Currently, the hotel employs two staff members, but the search for additional personnel is ongoing. The response to the job announcement on social media suggests that finding a workforce in Ambrolauri has not been a challenge for the hotel.
