The Georgian National Olympic Committee has announced that Georgian tennis player Nikoloz Basilashvili will compete in the Tokyo Olympics.
On July 23, in Tokyo, the 32nd Summer Olympics will officially be open. In the program, 33 types of sports are presented. More than 11,000 athletes from more than 200 countries will take part in the large-scale event.
Nikoloz Basilashvili, the first tennis player of Georgia, participant of the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games, will compete in the Tokyo Olympic Games. The Georgian National Olympic Committee has already received the corresponding official document.
As today’s data reports, Georgia has 22 officially certified licensees.
Representatives of judo, gymnastics, and several other sports will join the list of Georgian Olympic licensees.
