The leader of the United National Movement, Nika Melia, has been remanded in custody by a judge. At today’s trial, a restraining order against Melia has been upheld.

Nika Melia called Judge Nino Chakhnashvili a “slave of Chinchaladze” (Mikheil Chinchaladze, chairman of the Tbilisi Court of Appeals) and was expelled from the courtroom.

The next trial is scheduled for April 29.
