The 9-km-long Zestaponi bypass highway on the Shorapani-Argveta section has been opened to traffic.
According to the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, vehicles traveling on the East-West International Highway (E60) will no longer have to enter the city of Zestaponi and will instead be able to use the new Zestaponi bypass.
The Zestaponi bypass, like all sections of the highway, will significantly increase the standard of road safety and ensure more comfortable and smooth movement.
