The National Food Agency (NFA) of Georgia is supervising the recall of two batches of BABYBIO OPTIMA 1 infant formula from the market, following a notification from the official importer, Naturland. The move comes after a potential risk of the toxin Cereulide was identified in certain batches of the product in multiple countries, including Georgia.
The recall affects the following batches of BABYBIO OPTIMA 1 – 800g:
- Batch 894408, EAN 3288131580319, expiry date 09/07/2027

Sales of the affected batches have been immediately suspended, and the remaining stock has been counted and documented. Authorized NFA officials are overseeing the retrieval process to ensure full compliance.
