On February 22, after the meeting of the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, the Chief Executive Officer of Liberty Bank, Beka Gogichaishvili and the Acting President of the National Bank of Georgia, Natia Turnava, it became known that more than 150,000 pensioners who took loans until 2023 will have their interest rates reduced and will be equal to the percentage that has been established since 2023.
According to Lasha Gzirishvili, the head of the National Bank of Georgia’s Consumer Protection Department, pensioners will probably save 7 – 8 million during 1.5 years.
