Mziuri Gardens is a new unique project in Makhinjauri resort, with construction underway just a few meters from the sea, on the territory of a former sanatorium. The area of the multifunctional complex will be cultivated on 15,000 sq.m., most of which will be dedicated directly to a recreation area and landscaping. Residents of the complex will have access to 5-star hotel Crowne Plaza infrastructure and services. To learn more about it, GEORGIA TODAY interviewed Teona Giorgadze, Head of the Mziuri Gardens Marketing and Sales Department.
“In the Makhinjauri resort, near the Batumi Botanical Garden, by the sea, multifunctional residential complex Mziuri Gardens is being built,” she tells us. “Its recreational space covers 12,000 square meters, and the total area is 15,000 square meters. This is a place where, decades ago, the famous spa resort “Mziuri” was located. Makhinjauri is hypsometrically located at 15-100 meters above sea level, where the microclimate and sub-thermal mineral water were used by the locals at the beginning of the 20th century for the treatment of various illnesses. Since 2019, Mziuri has gained new life and, in addition to a residential and hotel space, it will also offer medical and leisure services to those who want to unwind.

What does Mziuri Gardens mean and what does it offer future residents?
First and foremost, it is a British investment in Adjara, with works being carried out by MRMU International. It is the qualification of the investor company that determines the construction and further operation of the project to a high standard. A relaxing environment, protected area, access to the services of the 5-star hotel in the complex, Crowne Plaza, and, most importantly, the ability to return your investment in an apartment within 5 years – these are just some of what Mziuri Gardens can offer.
What stage is the project at right now?
Construction has been underway since 2019. At this stage, the construction of the black frame has already been completed and the paving works are actively underway. The project is set for completion in December 2022.

All the services necessary for a modern life will be gathered in the Mziuri Gardens complex. In particular, food facilities, a spa center, fitness, areas adapted for children, a conference hall, private parking, recreation, a well-equipped private beach, and outdoor and indoor pools.
A huge yard with hammocks, poufs, pillows and soft furniture will be set up. A basketball court and summer amphitheater will be arranged in the yard, a wall will be installed, and a giant chessboard will be erected. A mini-aqua park and various services for children’s activities are also planned.
The multifunctional complex offers customers services such as concierge, transportation, babysitter, animators, doctor, complex care, etc.

The project is especially attractive for its healthy environment – the 12,000-square-meter recreational area within the Mziuri Gardens residential complex, with a mixture of mountain and sea air, creates a unique microclimate and an ideal environment for quality living and relaxing. It should be noted that part of the recreation area will be pine and other endemic plants that have decorated the area for years.
During the preparation of the project, the peculiarities of the local landscape were taken into account as much as possible, and emphasis was put on its preservation.
The diverse infrastructure and green cover of the Mziuri Gardens residential complex, of course, needs maintenance, and this will be taken care of by our professional team.

Due to the unique location, Mziuri Gardens offers a beautiful panoramic view of the sea from all the windows of the multifunctional residence. Attractive views unfold on the mountainside as well. I would also like to mention that one of the most visited and green places in Batumi, the Botanical Garden, is just 2 kilometers from Mziuri Gardens.
