Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia, Zurab Azarashvili met with the World Bank Regional Director for the South Caucasus, Sebastian Molineus.
The participants of the meeting reflected on joint ongoing and planned projects.
Special emphasis was given to importance of assistance rendered by the World Bank in terms of the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
The activities implemented and planned within the World Bank Emergency COVID-19 Response Project were also discussed, as were issues related to management of the pandemic. An online meeting with the Head Office of the World Bank to share experience was planned for the next week.
