Lasha Khutsishvili, Minister of Finance of Georgia, met Antonella Bassani, Vice-President of the World Bank for Europe and Central Asia this week.
At this meeting, the dignitaries reviewed the cooperation between the World Bank and Georgia, as well as projects supported in the public and private sectors of Georgia by the Bank. Further, they expressed readiness to continue active cooperation in the future.
The Minister of Finance of Georgia shared information with the visiting Vice-President of the World Bank on the current macroeconomic stance of the country, economic growth in 2021-2023, steps made forward by the government towards economic growth and fiscal consolidation, as well as reforms intended in the country.
