“Regardless of the position, any citizen will have questions if one side accuses another of something. The reason for the accusation should be presented by the accuser. It is the obligation and responsibility they provide logically the evidence. In this case, I think our very strategic friends, brothers, will be required to pay a little more attention and respect, the statement should be based on concrete facts,” said Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Levan Davitashvili, on the statement Ukrainian Foreign Minister.
He noted that not only Georgian society but also the international community and the public are waiting to see concrete evidence so that the reputation of the authors of the statement is maintained.
“I want to emphasize that border and customs control in Georgia is at the highest level. The Georgian government is ready and open to any interested party, for any interested country, to see how our system works, to make sure that all the statements we have heard are baseless. In short, I find all this insulting to the Georgian state,” Davitashvili said.
