The Merano Wine Festival is the first festival in Europe that serves to discover and promote high quality, diverse and unique wines. The wineries of different countries participating in the festival and the high-quality wines presented by them are proof of these values.
In 2022, the Merano Wine Festival went beyond the borders of Italy for the first time and was held in Georgia, organized by Chateau Mukhrani and the association “Georgian Wine”.
This year, the festival will be held on Sunday, June 11, in the Chateau Mukhrani Palace and the newly built event space “Orangerie”, seeing Georgian and foreign producers taking part, in the form of large, medium and small wineries.
This is the best opportunity to meet the winemakers personally and taste special Georgian, Italian and Turkish wines with them. Along with Georgian companies, Italian and Turkish wine producers will also be represented at the festival. Gastronomy is also an integral part of the wine festival. Georgian, Turkish, Italian gastronomic products and ingredients can be tasted and purchased at the event.
In parallel with the exhibition, guests will have the opportunity to attend wine seminars and tastings, as well as culinary master classes led by Georgian, Italian and Turkish chefs and wine experts. Helmut Kocher, founder of the Merano Wine Festival and director of Wine Hunter, Italian wine journalists and buyers will attend the festival.
