European Parliament’s official agenda revealed that the European Parliament’s Subcommittee on Human Rights (DROI) are scheduled to visit Tbilisi on May 26.
The Georgia visit is part of a wider international tour, with meetings already planned in Geneva (May 19–20), the Democratic Republic of the Congo (July 21), Bangladesh (September 15), and Turkey (October 27).
The visit comes during heightened scrutiny of Georgia’s human rights record and democratic standards. Further details on the delegation’s program in Tbilisi have not yet been released.
