In 2023, foreign trade turnover with goods in Georgia (without undeclared trade) amounted to 21,529.0 million USD, which is 12.5 percent more than the previous year.
Out of this, exports are 6,090.6 million USD (increased by 9.1 percent), and imports are 15,438.4 million USD (increased by 14.0 percent). Georgia’s negative trade balance in 2023 amounted to 9,347.8 million USD, which is 43.4 percent of foreign trade turnover.
The largest trade partners of the country are:
Turkey (2,979.3 million USD),
Russia (2,401.5 million USD),
USA (2 046.3 million USD).
