Levan Shavkatsishvili is set to take the helm of investment company Galt & Taggart as its Managing Director from October 2023. His appointment comes after a distinguished career in the financial sector.
From 2018 to 2023, Shavkatsishvili served as the head of Corporate Client Services at TBC Bank. In 2017-18, he held the position of Director at Greensill Capital in London. His journey in finance began at Citibank’s London office, where he worked from 2010 to 2017. Notably, he rose to the rank of Vice President in the Structured Financing division in 2012, overseeing the Europe, Middle East, and North Africa region.
He completed his master’s degree in 2010 at the Manchester Business School in Great Britain. In 2023, he expanded his knowledge further by enrolling in the Stanford Executive Program at Stanford University’s business school in California.
