Chairman of the political party Georgian Dream, Irakli Kobakhidze, remarked that he calls on the family of the former president of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, to provide him with adequate calorie food.
“We understand that Saakashvili himself is asking for them to bring him low-calorie food, but the family has its responsibility, therefore, we call on them to act not in accordance with Saakashvili’s political interests, but in accordance with his objective interests,” Kobakhidze noted.
He emphasized that all relevant medical and other services are provided for all prisoners, including prisoner Saakashvili.
On February 6, Tbilisi City Court refused to release Saakashvili from his sentence, nor did it postpone it.
