Kelly Degnan meets Ombudsman, expresses her support for protection of human rights

On March 22, Levan Ioseliani, for the first time in the capacity of Public Defender, met with the United States Ambassador to Georgia, Kelly Degnan.

The Ambassador congratulated the Public Defender on his election to the position and wished him success. She also expressed great respect for the institution and promised to support it in the difficult mission of protection of human rights.

The parties confirmed their willingness to continue the tradition of close cooperation between the Public Defender and the US Embassy.
