Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development reports that, turnover with the European Union increased by 15% last year and amounted to 4.5 billion dollars.
According to Genadi Arveladze, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, export products from Georgia have increased, such as: mineral water, fruit and vegetable preserves, etc.
As for what caused the decrease in exports, as Arveladze explained, in total, 16.7% of the 18% decrease is due to the decrease in copper ores and ferroalloys, which decreased not only in the EU market, but also in other international markets.
