According to the National Wine Agency of Georgia, in 2023, in the conditions of a quantitative decrease in the export of wine from Georgia, the increase in income is due to the increase in the export price of wine.
The National Wine Agency of Georgia also notes that after the drop in wine prices during the Covid-19 pandemic, an increase in the export price was recorded for the first time in 2023.
“The quantitative decrease of exports, compared to the similar indicator of 2022, amounted to 12%. Along with the quantitative decrease, the increase in export revenues is due to the increase in the export price of Georgian wine, which is the most important indicator,” the National Wine Agency of Georgia.
