Georgian illustrator Tatia Nadareishvili’s book “Tina Hat Mut” won the second prize at the Troisdorf picture book award, Writers’ House of Georgia reports.
Tina hat Mut was published by Swiss Publishing House Baobab Books with the support of the Writers’ House of Georgia.
The Troisdorf picture book prize is the only German prize that specifically honors illustrations for picture books. It recognizes outstanding achievements in the field of artistic picture book illustration.
The prize has been awarded by the Troisdorf Picture Book Museum every two years since 1982.
